Recombinant Human Thyroid Peroxidase/TPO protein (His tag)
Thyroid peroxidase, also called thyroperoxidase (TPO) or iodide peroxidase that with 100 kDa molecular weight, plays a key role in the thyroid hormone biosynthesis by catalysing both the iodination of tyrosyl residues and the coupling of iodotyrosyl residues in thyroglobulin (TG) to form precursors of the thyroid hormones T4 and T3.
Recombinant Human Thyroid Peroxidase/TPO protein (His tag) is a Human Fragment protein expressed in Baculovirus-Insect cells, in 19 to 846 aa range, and suitable for SDS-PAGE, Positive Control, WB and antigens in the thyroid peroxidase antibody detection kit.
